Hi, I’m Charley, and I’m so happy you’re here to learn more about Happy Hearts Babysitting! I'm 22, and I have a real passion for working with children. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and happy environment where children feel comfortable and enjoy themselves while you’re away. When I’m not babysitting, I love camping and spending time with my three cats! I can't wait to meet your family.
Our journey to Happy Hearts
Having worked for years as a nursery practitioner and an SEN Teaching Assistant, I've seen first-hand how challenging it can be for families to find childcare that truly understands their child, especially those who are neurodiverse or have additional needs. I founded Happy Hearts Babysitting to bring my experience, patience, and knowledge directly into your home. My goal is for every child to feel safe, seen, and happy, and for every parent to feel confident in taking a well-deserved break.
My passion for childcare
What I enjoy most is fostering calm, trusting bonds with children, helping them feel happy and secure in their own environment. My time as a nursery practitioner provided a strong foundation in early years care, routines, and development. My SEN work taught me to adapt my approach for neurodiverse children, catering to individual needs and different ways of engaging. I excel at noticing small details, maintaining consistency, and ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
Expert care for every age and need
I have extensive experience caring for newborns through to 12-year-olds, and I truly love supporting every stage. My role as a nursery practitioner equipped me with strong skills in caring for babies, toddlers, and supporting early years development. My SEN Teaching Assistant background means I have particular expertise and a genuine passion for supporting neurodiverse children, those with SEND, sensory needs, or additional requirements. I feel most confident and fulfilled when I can use my specialist knowledge to help children who need that extra understanding and patience.
